The RS Line Coilovers are like no other system ever produced for watercooled VW's. Unlike traditional coilovers that allow you to lower from the top (essentially compressing the springs and creating less shock travel), the new RS Line Coilovers are adjusted at the bottom, lowering the entire car, not just compressing the spring.
Whether you lower the car one inch or four inches, the car will still ride the same. Without affecting shock travel, you could essentially slam the car up to 4" safely and still maintain a comfortable ride.
