These springs lower the center of gravity from 0.5-2.5 inches. Incorporating a lowering progressive rate design allow B&G lowering Springs to offer higher rates for improved road hold, while maintaining an amazingly comfortable ride.

Along with the visual improvement a reduction in ride height lowering springs offers comes an enhancement in vehicle performance. Performance lowering springs reduce the vehicle's center of gravity, aiding stability. Lowering springs use increased springsss rates engineered to cope with the reduction in travel, while still preventing bottoming of the suspension under most conditions found during normal driving. The increased springs rates help control side-to-side body roll during cornering, as well as the pitch and nosedive experienced during spirited acceleration and braking.

B+G Suspension Total quality begins with the type and grade of wire selected and continues throughout the manufacturing process. For its automotive applications B&G Suspension springs uses only high tensile chromium-silicone wire purchased from Europe's premium mines. The springs are cold wound on precision CNC coilers, shot peened, and heat treated for maximum strength and longevity. Every spring is then blocked and computer tested against tight tolerances for rate and dimensional measurements. Approved lowering springs are electrically charged, painted with an epoxy powder resin coating and oven baked to create a hard corrosion resistant shell. Unique to B&G, as a final step the springs are marked with a unique production date marking for quality tracking and control
