Un-Pimp My Ride

These GTI commercials from 2006 are one of the best and funniest that VW has ever made.  Mocking MTV's Unpimp my Ride series,  they have the opposite theme: "Unpimp Ze Auto."  The commercials feature three questionably customized vehicles, a Focus, Honda and a Mitsubishi Eclipse, all getting smashed up by Swedish actor Peter Stormare and his unpimp controller box.  The ridiculously over-customized vehicles are completely destroyed and their owners forced into the new Volkswagen GTI.

Stormare, after unpimping the car, rushes over to the GTI and flashes a gang sign of VW while saying such gems as  "Representing Deutschland" and "German engineering in the house."  The commercial ends with the voice over "Pretuned by German engineers."  Enjoy!
