Save your precious trunk space by installing a high-quality custom-fit subwoofer enclosure designed and manufactured by one of the best car audio fabricators in the United States. Hand laid using the highest quality MDF and fiberglass from American suppliers. No lightweight or filler woods are ever used. All of the speaker mounts are 3/4" MDF rings to ensure a solid mounting surface. Our enclosure fits closely to the odd shape of the MKV driver side cargo area, and still allows use of cargo hooks and spare tire. A mounting depth of approximately 6" will allow the fitment of almost every subwoofer on the market. The largest woofer we have test fit so far is the JL Audio 10w3. All enclosures are wrapped in high quality trunk liner to provide the closest match to OEM color. A special 2-way mounting bolt is included for a solid attachment to the vehicle through factory holes. These enclosures are made to order, one at a time, so please allow us up to 4 days to complete your enclosure before we ship it out to you. Does not fit Mk IV models.
What sets our boxes apart from other manufacturers?
We use the best of every material we can find, from the wood, to the glue, nails, carpet, everything. We don't import these enclosures, or any of the parts that make them from China or other overseas suppliers. This makes it cost a little more, but creates dependable performance in every product we make. In every MDF enclosure we laminate the interior with a light coat of fiberglass resin. MDF is a pourous substrate, in factories large vacuums can pick up multiple sheets by sucking air through the wood. This makes for sub enclosures that are mostly sealed. A thin coat of fiberglass resin works to create a tighter seal for better sound. The process of stuffing silicone in the corners employed by most builders does not create a chemical bond like resin, and does not seal anything besides the corners, it is just cheaper.
I. Inspection
Buyer shall inspect and reconcile all inbound shipments from ExtremeVDub.com within seven (7) working days. Claims for shortages or damaged merchandise must be submitted to ExtremeVDub.com no more than ten (10) working days following Buyer's receipt of shipment.
II. Returns; Defective and Damaged Merchandise
Defective and freight damaged merchandise (but only where ExtremeVDub.com is providing shipment) may be returned to ExtremeVDub.com for full credit, but only upon verification by ExtremeVDub.com of such defect or damage. A Returned Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") form must be filled out by the Buyer and Approved by ExtremeVDub.com. Credit will be issued to Buyer upon receipt of the RMA form and the claim approval from the freight company.
III. Returns; Exchanges; Good Merchandise
Returns of good merchandise may be accepted by ExtremeVDub.com in its sole discretion under the following conditions:
a. Return/Exchange of merchandise in totally re-saleable condition, without markings on the original packaging will be restricted to extraordinary circumstances with prior approval from ExtremeVDub.com. Accepted return will be assessed a 25% restocking charge. Returned part number shall not exceed 15% of total annual purchase quantities.
b. Return/Exchange of merchandise in packaging that has been marked, relabeled or otherwise defaced will be restricted to extraordinary circumstances with prior approval from ExtremeVDub.com. Accepted return will be assessed a 30% restocking charge, except that ExtremeVDub.com merchandise returned in packaging that has been marked, relabeled or otherwise defaced will be subject to a 40% restocking charge. Returned part number shall not exceed 15% of total annual purchase quantities.
c. Merchandise classified by ExtremeVDub.com as TB (To Be Discontinued), or DC (Discontinued), may not be returned for credit.
d. Merchandise on sales promotion or inventory packages may not be returned for credit.
e. Buyer must pay all return transportation charges.
f. Buyer must obtain and complete an RMA form, issued by ExtremeVDub.com, for any good merchandise return or exchanges.
g. Returns/Exchanges will not be accepted under any circumstances after 15 calendar days after the ship date indicated by ExtremeVDub.com.
h. Any returns for non-fitment or quality issues will require high quality digital pictures of the products to be emailed to the account manager before an RMA is approved.
i. Order cancellations will take up to 48 hours after a cancellation is requested before the order is officially cancelled and money processed for return.
